Turkey is between three major tectonic plates, the most active area of Mediterranean region in terms earthquake activity. Relative motions African, Arabian and Eurasian plates account for activity region. As a result, Anatolian plate has high danger seismicity. This consists North Fault Zone (NAFZ), East (EAFZ) SE Thrust which form borders Plate important fault segments throughout Western Anatolia. All these faults cause short time intervals intensive damages earthquakes. In order to investigate real-time monitor seismic seismotectonic its vicinity, The Kandilli Observatory Earthquake Research Institute (KOERI) Bogaziçi University AFAD operates stations countrywide. been supplying mainly 3 kind seismological data: phase readings, waveform catalogue earth scientists Turkey. Earth science studies have an contribution emergence hazard. evaluation data receiving from contributes determination hazard detail, contribute minimization risks by developing catalogues. Also, all parameters after earthquake, automatically distributed mapped. After KOERI quickly sent information smartphones society decision-making institutions carrying out disaster studies.
